Nicholas has been practicing Yoga for the last 10 years. His first Yoga class was an emotional transformation, after which he realized he wanted to share and teach others this ancient practice. Nicholas has been certified in both the Hatha and Yin Yoga traditions, a graduate of the Yoga Teacher Training program at Sempreviva Studios in Vancouver, Canada. His experience in teaching also consists of many styles of Yoga, from Restorative to Vinyasa Flow.
His Greek ancestry and his passion for travel has inspired him to become the director of The Soma Yoga Retreat in Nisyros, Greece. The islands’ rare natural beauty and secluded location, has become the ideal spot for a Yoga holiday. While his teaching is dynamic and challenging, he believes laughter and patience is essential in any practice.
Please join Nicholas and his fellow instructors in a journey of self discovery and inner peace, through the power of Yoga. Namaste.

As a long time martial arts student and teacher, Eric was looking for a way to enhance and balance his training. Coming to yoga primarily for its physical benefits, he soon found yoga’s theories and spiritual aspects aligned with his martial arts practice. Through yoga, Eric found his body opening in ways years of vigorous training had never allowed. In Ashtanga yoga, with its attention to breath and movement, he discovered the balance he was seeking. Eric likes to keep his classes light and fun with a focus on correct form, alignment and understanding. Completing his teacher training at Downward Dog Yoga Centre in Toronto, Canada, he continues to deepen his yoga practice with teachers Ron Reid and Marla Meenashi Joy.
