Getting to Nisyros
The only way to get to Nisyros is by ship, from either from Kos or Rhodes. Kos island offers the nearest airport and easiest transfer port to the retreat. The town of Kardemena is the closest port to the airport and offers frequent transfers to Nisyros. There are airport taxis and buses to take you to the port of Kardemena. Once on Nisyros, you will be met by our staff, then a short walk to the hotel for check in and refreshments. Rhodes is the other island we offer transfers from. This island has less departures to Nisyros, so please notify us if you wish this transfer. We include return ferry transfers in our pricing from both islands.
Getting to Kos or Rhodes for your transfer is easy. Both airports are serviced by the following airlines within the U.K.,Europe and Greece: EasyJet, RyanAir, Monarch Air, Aegean Airlines, Olympic Airlines and Air Berlin. Or you can take an overnight ferry from Athens to Nisyros, via Blue Star ferries, direct to the island. Please notify us of your method of arrival to the transfer points or to the island direct.
Soma Yoga Retreats has selected The Hotel Porfyris, located in the village of Mandraki.
